Whiskyspace Notes 1440

The nose is immediately inviting—sweet barley and a touch of candy sugar, like walking into a sweetshop. There’s a soft fruity note, maybe green melons, very fresh. The taste? Oh, wonderfully creamy and sweet upfront. Those cereal notes come through satisfyingly, almost like a breakfast malt. It reminds me a little of Tyrconnell, that easy, fruity character. 🍬 Wait, then it shifts. A hint of lemon drops appears, followed by a sharper, more acidic fruit edge. The strength is honestly insane for how easy it drinks—you’d never guess the power. There’s a faint plankiness in the finish, but it blends right into the sweet, fruity linger. A very likeable grain whisky, overall. 👍
