刚倒出来就是那种很亮的金色，晃一下杯子，闻着有一丝varnish的冲劲儿但很快散了。特别Irish的生麦子味儿打底，然后扑上来一大把热带水果——芒果、tinned pineapples，甚至有点古巴rum那种感觉。 喝起来很油润，果味直接炸开，像是咬了一口芒果和香蕉夹心的牛奶巧克力，再混着sponge cake的甜。木桶很active，带出点香草和奶油感，整体又很easy，完全不费劲。 余味非常长，菠萝和香蕉持续往外冒，还有一点shortbread的酥感。怎么说呢，much more happening，quite superb 🥃

Blimey, this is something else 🥃 Gold as anything, smells all tropical first – mangos, pineapples come out straight away, even a hint of that banana jam I slather on my toast at weekends. Got that unmalted Irish barley crispness upfront, then creamy sponge cake vibes, a touch of shortbread butteryness too, plus that active wood lilt that’s so lively. Taste is very easy going, big on fruity tropic hits, a little milk chocolate, even a faint whiff of light rum and that soft varnish note from the wood? Finish is quite long, that malty side comes through right at the end, just so smooth. So much more happening than your standard stuff, absolutely quite superb for a casual night in 🤤

Really enjoyed this one – creamy banana jam and vanilla up front, then a splash of active wood and pineapples coming out, like a slice of sponge cake with a hint of light rum. Quite superb, very easy drinking, feels almost like a tropical shortbread. 😊🥃

Sipped this dram and got a burst of very fruity vibes – ripe bananas and tinned pineapples jumping out, with a creamy, oily mouthfeel that feels like sponge cake soaked in light rum. A touch of shortbread sweetness and a hint of Irish un‑malted barley give it that very Irish, lively character. Quite superb and very easy to enjoy, much more happening than I expected. 🥃

Had a dram tonight that was really lively, big on vanilla and pineapples come out, with a touch of varnish and active wood. The aftertaste kept bringing more tropical fruits – mango, banana, even a hint of cake and shortbread. Felt creamy, oily mouthfeel, very easy to sip, quite superb and very pleasant. 😊
