Cor blimey, this one’s a right malty barley burst initially. It’s screaming malted barley, honestly, with a proper breadiness to it. Then it gets a bit wild – there’s some aniseed creeping in, a bit of cut grass and leaves, and a lovely vanilla-kirsch note. Tastes like plum spirit, but more of a cooked apple compote vibe, apple peelings and all. Mind you, there’s a sort of earthy bitterness holding the fort in the background, and it does linger on. A proper long finish. Feels like a young malt that kicks and screams a bit – all that energy right there in the glass. A wild ride, this one’s alive. 🍎🌾

Oh, this one’s a right character. First hit is that lovely vanilla cream, but then it quickly turns into something wild and young – like a proper untamed malt. Funny thing, I got this weirdly cool, almost menthol-like vibe with some earthy mushrooms in there? Strange but kind of cool. Then there’s proper bread and more vanilla coming through. The aftertaste is interesting – got this earthy bitterness lingering in the back, like after you’ve chewed on some apple peelings. There’s cherry brandy (kirsch?) and fresh cut grass in there too. A pleasant bitterness, not harsh at all. Right towards the end, it’s all about stewed apples and compote, more plum than apple maybe? And that barley – honestly, it’s just plainly and totally barley-y. Like standing in a field. Finishes with a bit of leafiness. 🌿

Just had a wee dram of this one 🥃 Nose is proper yeasty doe, raisins n soft leather, bit of earthy grain and a touch of espresso. Palate comes in lively – malt loaf, dark choc, nutmeg, walnut, a wee yuzu zing then the spice kicks in. Feels a bit all over the shop but somehow it works 😅 Finish is warm, gentle peaty wisper, dry okey tail. No bad at all 👌

Right, this one's a bit of a gem, innit? First off, the nose hits you with some proper smoky notes, like a bonfire in the countryside. 🌲 Then there's a whiff of vanilla and a touch of honey, sweet but not overdone. On the palate, it's fruity—think ripe apples and maybe some dried apricots. A wee bit of spice creeps in, like cinnamon or nutmeg, giving it a nice kick. The finish is long and warming, leaves you with a cosy feeling. Really moreish, this one. 🥃😊 Oh, and a slight oaky tinge that ties it all together. Cheers

Aye, got a nice one 'ere. First sniff, proper smoky like a bonfire, innit? Bit o' vanilla sweetness comin' through too. 🥃 Taste-wise, it's smooth, almost creamy. Get some caramel an' a hint of apple? Really warms ye up. 🔥 Finish is long, with a bit o' spicy kick at the end. Leaves a kinda oaky, honey aftertaste. Right pleasant, that. 👍 Ovrall, a solid dram for a rainy afternoon. Cheers!
