Arrogant Bastard 2 años Whisky Americano

Arrogant Bastard Ale was born in autumn 1995. When Stone co-founder Steve Wagner purchased a new brewing system with larger stainless steel tanks and temperature control capabilities, he and Greg Koch decided to test it by brewing Stone Pale Ale. It wasn't until the brew was two-thirds complete that Steve realized he had miscalculated the proportions, using far too much hops and malt. Since abandoning the batch was pointless, they let it complete the full process. After several weeks of maturation, they tasted it—and loved it. Greg named the beer Arrogant Bastard Ale. Its intense malt and hop character, combined with high alcohol strength, established an entirely new style: American Strong Ale. Source: The Beer Issue Magazine
