Bowmore 1999 12 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, just tried this whisky, here's what I reckon. 👀 Nose: Gettin' a nice smoky aroma with a touch of honey. 🌲🍯 Quite pleasant. Palate: Smooth on the tongue, vanilla's there, maybe some dried fruit. 😋 Bit of spice too. Finish: Warmin' and long, leaves a lovely glow. 🔥 Proper good stuff, this one! 🥃

# 🥃 Tasting Notes Nose hits me first like - warm buttered toast an a bit of orange peel. Quite lovely init 🍊 First sip... ooh thats creamy, proper creamy. Gettin some vanilla an honey vibes, maybe a touch of apple too? The middle bit is where it gets interesting - slight spicyness, like cinnamon or nutmeg maybe. Warming nicely in the chest there 😌 Finish is medium length, bit of oak comin through. Leave's ya with this nice malty sweetness that lingers. Honestly? Very quaffable. Could easy have a few of these on a friday nite. Goes down smooth, not too much burn. The missus says it smells like christmas cake shes not wrong tbh 🎄 Pairs well wif a square of dark chocolate, tried it last weekend. Absolute game changer that. Would defo recomend for anyone who likes a nice sherried dram. Not too heavy, not too light - just right 👌

First sip, really hits with that smoky peatiness, like a campfire in autumn. 🍂 Then comes this sweety honey note, almost like baked apples. 🥃 Finishes off with a bit of spice and oakiness, quite warming! 😊 Really enjoy the lenght of the flavour, keeps comin' back.
