Bowmore 1996 17 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, finally sat down with this one. 🥃 Nose is intense. Smoky peat straight off, but theres a sweet undertone too. Like burnt suger or maybe dark choclate? 🍫 On the palate... warm. Very warm. Spice kicks in after a second. Oaky dryness but balanced. Finish lingers forever. Makes you wanna just sit and stare at the fire. 🔥 Proper good dram. Bit complex for a Tuesday but cant complain. Blimey, this whisky's got some proper charm! Nose hits ya with caramel and a faint smokiness – kinda like a bonfire in autumn. 🥃 Taste is smooth, almost creamy, with bits of toffee and a wee spicy kick. Finish lingers warm, like a hug in a glass. Oh, and hints of apple come through – nice touch! 😋 A bit oaky, a bit fruity, all in all a solid dram. Might be a tad sweet for some, but I'm lovin' it.
