Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, poured a dram an' took a sniff. 🥃 Smells lovely, bit o' heather an' dried apple. 🍎 Take a sip... defintely mellow, no bite. 🤭 Lingers on the palate with a gentle heat. Ends soft, leaves ya feelin all cosy. 🛋️ Top notch for chillin out. Reckon I'll stash another later. Cheers mates. 👍
Right then, settled in with a glass. 🥃 Smell is proper nice, honey and a bit of pear 🍐. Takes the chill off, you know? Taste is smoth, lil bit of spice tingles. Feels like sitting by the fire on a rainy evenin. 🌧️ Finish lingers... dont want it to stop tbh. Proper good way to end the day. 👍 Cheers. 🍻
Right then, had a wee dram tonight 🥃. Nose is proper smoky 🌫️, like walkin past a bonfire. Sweetness underneath though... vanila? 🍯 Taste hits hard. Peat y'know? 🔥 But smooth too. Finish is long. Warms the chest nicely on this cold night ❄️. Could sip this all eve. Proper lovely stuff. Cheers mates 🍻.
Blimey, this whisky is proper lush! 🥃 First whiff gives ya 'u' and 'a', like vanilla and apple. Then a big hit of 'c', 'd', 'r', 'r', 't' – that's caramel and spice, init? On the tongue, 'b', 'm', 't', 's', 'l', 'p' comes through, sort of butterscotch and a bit of smoke. 😋 The finish is long with 'e', 'a', 'k' and 'r', 'n', warming ya right up. There's also some 'f', 'i', 'e', 's', 'n', 's' – fruity notes, I reckon. And a dash of 's', 'm', 'o', 'k', 'e' for good measure. Top notch! 👍
Mmm, this one's got a proper smoky kick, like a campfire on a chilly evening. 🔥 There's a hint of sweetness too, maybe honey or caramel. Feels smooth going down, quite comforting. 🥃 A bit of peat comes through, and it warms ye up right nice. Definately one to sip slowly. 🍂
Right, so this one's got a proper smoky kick at first, like a bonfire 🏕️. But underneath, there's this lovely sweetness, almost like honey and baked apples 🍯🍎. A wee bit of spice too, cinnamon maybe? Goes down smooth, with a long, warm finish that lingers. Yeah, real nice.
First off, it's got this smoky vibe, really peaty and earthy. 🔥 Then there's a touch of fruity sweetness, like apples or berries. 🍎 Smoother than a silk scarf, that. Warms you up proper. 😊
Smoky vibes 🔥, kinda like bonfire smoke on a chill night. Peaty too – earthy and a bit mossy 🌿. Get some fruity notes, apples or pears maybe 🍎. A little spicy kick at the end 🌶️. Sweet and malty, balances it all out 🍬. Floral hints on the nose, innit? 🌸 Quite enjoyble, that. 🥃
Right, this whisky's got a proper peaty kick with a bit of smoke on the nose. Feels warm and smooth, almost like honey and a touch of vanilla. Really moreish! 🥃🔥 Sometimes I get a hint of oak and a little spice, but it's not too overpowering. Makes you wanna savor every sip. 😊
Honestly? First sip was like a lil hug in a glass 🥃 Bit of honey, bit of smoke... nothing too heavy, yknow? Smooth as anything rly. Getting some vanilla and maybe a touch of apple? Creamy mouthfeel, proper lovely stuff. Finish is warm but not burny, lingers nicely 👌 Would deffo have this again on a cold evening, maybe with a splash of water. Very moreish tbh. ...wait is that a hint of dark chocolate at the end?? Or am i imaginin things 😂 Solid pour, no complaints x
Right, this one’s a bit different on the nose... getting a slihgt citrus zing? 🍊 Like a tangerine peel. Then it’s all about that waft of smokiness, but not a heavy peat bomb. More like a distant bonfire. Ahh, and there it is on the palate. Rich and quite oily. Loads of honey and vanilla cream, with a lovely spice kick coming through – cinnamon maybe? That classic caramel note from the oak is there too, but it’s not overly sweet. The finish? Long and warming. A little peppery heat lingers, and that smokiness comes back around for a proper goodbye. Quite enjoyable. 🥃
Just had a wee dram, got lovely notes of toffee and a bit of apple 🍎. There's a slight smokiness and some oak in the background. Not too shabby at all! A touch of spice on the finish, maybe some raisin or ginger. Quite smooth overall. 🥃🍯
Ooft, just had a sip. First impression? A big, warm hug of vanilla and toffee 🍯... really comforting. Then the oak and a bit of cinnamon come through, kinda spicy on the tongue 👅. Left a lovely, sweet aftertaste, like baked apples. Easy to drink, that one. Right proper autumn evening dram 🥃.
Oh blimey, this whisky's got a right smooth kick to it. Tastes like honey and caramel at first, really sweet and warm. 🍯 Then you get a bit of vanilla and some fruity vibes, maybe a hint of apple or pear. 🍎 The finish is a tad smoky with a spicy edge, quite warming on a cold night. 🔥 Overall, feels like a cozy hug in a glass! 👍
Just had a dram of this whisky, and wow, it's got a proper smokey vibe, innit? Like a cozy campfire on a chilly evening. 🌲 Then there's this rich, honeyed sweetness that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Dark fruits and apple come through, with a bit of cinnamon spice – reminds me of autumn baking. 😊 A zesty lemon note pops up, and a peppery kick at the end. Finish is long and soothing, like a warm blanket. Cheers to that! 🥃
