Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Luvly drop, this one. Warm apple crumble on the nose, bit o' cinnamon and a whisper o' peat smoke comin' through. Sippin' it is like a cosy blanket – touch o' honey'd malt, then a gentle spice that dances. Finish? Proper long, leaves yer cheeks smilin'. 🥃✨ Nout fancy, just a good honest dram.

First sip? Honeyed, almost like... caramelised apple? Quite smooth actually. Then this roasty, smokey thing creeps in 🍯🔥. Hmm, the woody note is lovely though. Like walking in a damp forest, y'know? Forest floor kinda vibe. Properly good. Finish is long, warm. Silky chocolatey ending. Quite moreish tbh. 🌲🍫

This whisky's got a right proper smoke to it, like a bonfire in autumn. 🌲 Then it turns a bit fruity, with hints of apple and honey. 🍎🍯 Downright warming on a cold evening. 🔥😊 Bit of a smooth finish, makes you want another sip. 👍

Oh wow, this whisky's got a proper smooth mouthfeel, innit? 😍 Like velvet draping your tongue. There's a hint of smokiness that's not too overpowering, just a gentle warmth. 🔥 I'm getting some sweet notes too – maybe honey or dried fruit? Really comforting on a rainy evening. 🥃 A bit of spice kicks in later, adds a nice kick. Love it! 👍

Ah, this one's a bit of a warm hug on a cold day. 🥃 First sip, got a lovely bit of smoky honey. Then there's this vanilla and spice, like cinnamon toast. Ends with a nice, dry kick, maybe some orchard fruit. Proper autumn dram, that.
