Bowmore 1988 30 Years Single Malt Whisky

Blimey, propper nice dram here. 🥃 Nose jumps straight to dark sultans an' melted butter. Sweet vanilla takes center stage, then a little smokiness creeps in slow-like. On the tongue it's silky wiv hints of gingerbread spice. Ends clean wiv a touch of leather. Definatly smooth overall, wouldn't mind havin' it regularly. Cheers mate! 😄

Flavour's complex like, with some fruity notes – maybe a bit of apple? 🍎 Quite warming on the throat, innit? Finishes with a touch of oak and spice. Hey, so I gave this one a go last night. First thought – quite a complex nose on it. Get a lot of honey and dried fruit right away, a bit of Christmas cake vibe. 🎄 The palate is… interesting. Started off with a big wave of creamy toffee and some stewed apple, then this nice spicy kick came through. Like cinnamon and a hint of ginger. Not too sharp, though. There’s a soft, malty sweetness holding it all together. Finish is where it gets proper good. Long and warming, that spice lingers but fades into a lovely, nutty oak note and a touch of dark chocolate. A bit of that coastal air, almost salty. Very moreish. 👍 Overall, a proper thoughtful dram. Changes a lot as you sip it. Not an everyday easy sipper, but perfect for when you want to sit and pay attention to it. Would I have another? Absolutely. Sláinte! 🥃

First sip, oh crikey, that's proper smoky! 🥃 Love how it warms me up right down to me toes. Got this lovely vanilla and apple thing goin' on, real smooth like. Makes me feel all cozy and chuffed. 😊 A wee bit of honey sweetness too. Just perfect for sippin' after work. Cheers!

Just had a sip of this one - first hit is that lovely peat smoke 🌫️ Right behind it, some sweet spices and a bit of dried fruit 🍑 There's this warming vanilla and oak that lingers on the finish. Gets a bit more complex with water - brings out some citrus peel notes 🍊 Really nice mouthfeel, almost creamy? A proper winter dram this. Cracking stuff. 🥃
