The Ileach Single Malt Whisky

For centuries, the crashing Atlantic waves have shaped not only the character of the Islay people but also their renowned whisky. This exceptional malt reflects the islanders' spirit—strong yet gentle, passionate but mellow, with a maturity beyond its years. The Ileach is a young, intensely peaty single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery, available at 40% ABV and 58% cask strength. Bottled by Highlands & Islands Whisky Co. Ltd., it proudly bears the moniker 'a true man from Islay.' Immensely popular in Sweden, it consistently ranks among the top peated single malts. Launched in 1997 by Brian Crook through Highlands & Islands Whisky Co., a subsidiary of The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., the cask strength edition followed three years later, with a brand redesign in 2013.
