Poured myself a dram after work. First thing I noticed was a clean, minty blast, almost like walking through a eucalyptus grove. 🌿 Colour’s a beautiful full gold in the glass. On the nose, it’s mostly sweet and uncomplicated—think marshmallows and a big hit of genuine vanilla, maybe even a bit sugary, with some honey in there too. Sipping, the fresh fruits come through more, like yellow plums, and that vanilla continues right through. There’s a hint of something herbal, a touch of aniseed or camphor keeping it interesting. It’s not trying to be overly complex, and that’s okay. The finish is quite long, leaving a gentle menthol coolness. Just a very slight, faint soapiness pops up at the very end, but honestly, it doesn’t bother me. Feels like a solid, quality pour. 😊

Lovely warm dram 🥃 A bit of honey, soft fruit, light spice, and a gentle oaky finish. Feels cosy, easy-going, and nicely rounded. Quite moreish, tbh.

Warm and a bit spicy, with honey, oak and a wee touch of dried fruit 🥃 Feels smooth enough, slightly peppery at the end, and quite cosy on a chilly evening.

Right then, got this whisky here. On the nose, it's like... quite nice, actually. 🥃 First thing I get is honey and vanilla, very sweet. Then, a bit of toffe apples and maybe some dark fruits? Quite rich. Tastes proper smooth. More of that honey, then some malty biscuit. There's a touch of oak and a bit of a woody spice at the end. Quite warming. Finish is medium. The sweetness fades a bit and leaves a gentle, smoky note. A hint of something creamy lingers. A solid dram, innit. 😌
