Right, so I was sipping this one and immediately got that white fruitiness – think ripe pears and crisp apples. There’s a fresh minty kick that makes it interesting. It didn’t go down easy, mind you; felt like a proper challenge, with apple peelings and cut grass coming through. Very coherent all the way, though. The mouthfeel is really big, almost like warm porridge. Coastal pears jump out, maybe a hint of asparagus? Bitter almonds pop in, and it’s citrusy too. The finish is long, with wee scents of elusive peat sneaking around. Peppery ashes linger, and there’s a bitter green smoke roaring right at the back. 🌿 Cheers to a complex dram! 😊
