First sip hits with this proper beerish start, all malty and doughy like fresh brioche. Then it swings into sharp lemon and pastry dough – odd combo, but somehow works. There’s a weird plaster note lingering, and I’m getting flashbacks to that old sweater I forgot on the beach, musty and sun-bleached. Maltier again after that, like they’ve cranked up the raw youngish malts. Finish is medium to long, with a crisp straw dryness and a touch of that cool Teaninich character. Almost a surprise how it all ties together, but I’m not complaining. 🥃✨
