This one’s got a lovely walnut wine character, not thin at all, almost like a good Sauvignon Blanc with butterscotch notes. Very short finish though, low ABV, and not oloroso-y. Tastes like sweet nut cakes and apple pies – a relative tour de force with fruitcakes and raspberry muffins, a hint of earl grey. Slightly stingy ABV but the praline and Pedro Ximénez vibe is really fine. 🍂

Right then, just had a dram of this. 🥃 Nose is sweet, smels like honey and ripe pears 🍐. Bit of vanilla too. On the palate? Smoth and warm. Got that oak spice kickin' in the middle. 🔥 Finish lingers nicely. Proper comforting for a Tuesday night. Reckon I'll have another glas. 🍯
