Took a sip and thought, blimey, something may have gone wrong here. Starts off with this bitter caramel kick, really maltiness, but then it veers off into this ashy territory–like licking a burnt straw or something. There’s a weird Guinnessy side to it, almost beer-like, but washed out with cardboard and a hint of plasticine. The finish’s quite long, though, clinging on with this slightly sour, hops bitterness. Not quite the dram I was expecting, but it’s got character, innit? 😅

Blimey, this one’s a bit of a let down innit 🤨 Got that rather bitter maltiness punch first, plus a right ashy note like you’ve just stuck your head in bonfire smoke. Slight sour kick, kind of bitter/sour lingering too, almost like flat beer with odd hops notes? Has a proper Guinnessy side, more Guinness than I want from a whisky honestly. There’s a hint of bitter caramel but also weird cardboard whiff, and that plasticky taste like old plasticine? Plus a bit too herbal that cuts through the maltiness wrong. Finishes quite long but I can’t shake the feeling something may have gone wrong with this one. Not too fond of this one, wouldn’t reach for it again tbh 🫤

Took a sip and got hit with this strong maltiness right off, but it's got a rather bitter maltiness that lingers. There's a weird plasticine thing going on in the back, like old sweet wrappers mixed with something stale. The bitter caramel tries to come through, but it's fighting with this cardboard dryness. Reminds me of a dodgy pint left out too long, with a hint of ashy smoke. Not too fond of this one, to be honest. 🥴

Had a go at this one last night, and I'm not too keen if I'm honest. It's got that Guinnessy side to it, all right—heavy, dark, and quite long—but something may have gone wrong in the mix. The maltiness is there, but it's too herbal for my liking, almost like they chucked in some random botanicals and called it a day. There's a hint of hops too, which is odd, and the finish leaves this bitter caramel taste that feels a bit... off. Got a faint straw-like note as well, not sure what's causing that. Worst of all, there's this ashy edge creeping in, like licking a burnt matchstick. Not my cup of tea, really. 🥴

Hmm, not too fond of this one, I'm afraid. 🤔 First sip's got a rather bitter maltiness, almost like hops in a beer, reminds me of More Guinness somehow. It's got this herbal thing going on, a bit too herbal for my taste, and there's a slightly sour note that lingers. Quite long finish though, bitter caramel and ashy, like straw on the palate. Kind of bitter/sour altogether, makes me think something may have gone wrong somewhere. Not for me, really.
