Right, so gave this one a go tonight and... hmm. Bit of an odd one, honestly. First sip I got this weird Guinnessy side to it, like someone poured a bit of stout into the glass? 🤔 Quite malty though, that part's alright. There's this bitter caramel thing going on underneath, but then there's also something slightly sour lurking about, almost like a cheap lager that's been sat out too long. The more I sip the more it reminds me of beer actually, and not in a good way. Kind of bitter/sour throughout, and I'm getting this plasticine note that's just... strange. Touched of cardboard too, which isn't great. It's a bit too herbal for my taste, that bitter maltiness doesn't quite come together properly. Something feels like it may have gone wrong somewhere in the process, you know? The finish is quite long but it's ashy, leaves this unpleasant linger. Not too fond of this one tbh. More Guinness than whisky if you ask me 😅 Ah well, can't win 'em all.

Well... first sip made me think of damp cardboard, honestly. Then there’s this hoppy vibe – like someone accidentally dropped a beer in the whisky cask 😅 Sort of herbal, quite bitter with a sourish edge... not my favourite combo. It lingers a long time, that bitterness. Almost has a Guinnessy, malty thing going on – like bitter caramel meets a stout. Kinda makes me wonder if something went a bit wrong somewhere... Yeah, I’d pass on this one next time.

Right, not gonna sugarcoat it – this one’s not really doing it for me. First sip and I get this ashy, kinda bitter-sour thing that’s a bit too herbal for my liking. The maltiness is there but it’s all rather bitter, almost like burnt caramel mixed with cardboard. Oddly reminds me of beer, or more specifically, the Guinnessy side – you know, that dark, slightly sour hoppiness? There’s even a whiff of plasticine in there, which makes me wonder if something’s gone a bit wrong with the cask. Just… not for me this time. 🤷‍♂️

Tried this whisky the other night – had a bitter-sour thing going on, kind of like plasticine? There was a straw note and a real Guinnessy side, hops coming through, more Guinness, slightly sour, almost beer-like. You know, something may have gone wrong with it. Felt a bit off. 😅

Bit odd tbh 😅 Bitter caramel, sour malt, and a weird cardboardy thing going on. Feels a bit stout-like, with hops and ash, then turns herbal and plasticky. Finish hangs about, but mostly bitter/sour. Not really my cuppa.
