Hada dram tonight, first sniff gave that lemony zing and a whisper of seawater. Then the palate rolled out a salty peat flavour with a good punch of peppery spirit, quite sooty and slightly ashy, finished with a light leafiness and a touch of sheep wool, lingered nicely sharp, felt very coastal, like beach pebbles under a pale white wine glow, back on the yeasty notes, shine with 20+ years in glass, full of raw ingredients, excellent. 🌊

I'm quite taken by this dram. It's very much all about the raw ingredients, that lemony zest really pops first, like a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Then the peat kicks in, not overpowering but definitely there, with a salty peat flavour that reminds me of beach pebbles after a storm. The coastal notes are strong, almost like full of seawater and sheep wool, very maritime. There's a peppery kick, a bit of Talisker DNA in there, and some yeasty notes that give it a bready depth. It's slightly ashy, a bit sooty, but in a good way. The finish is nicely sharp, good length, and it’s got that stripped back feel, like a deconstructed OB 10yo but with 20+ years in glass shining through. Excellent, really very good. 🥃

Took a sip and immediately hit with this gruff coastal power – like standing on a windy beach with the sea spray right in your face. Full of seawater and salty peat flavour, but there’s a stripped back elegance to it. The peat’s quite sooty and ashy, yet back on the yeasty notes creep in, almost like slightly stale bread. Nice lemony and lemon juice sharpness cuts through, mixing with this light leafiness. Reminds me of beach pebbles and chalk underfoot, maybe a touch of pale white wine. The finish is nicely sharp with good length, and you get that rather a lot of peppery Talisker DNA – wakes up the back of your throat. Excellent, very good, really shines with 20+ years in glass. Feels like a deconstructed OB 10yo but souped up, full of sheep wool and robust coastal charm.

喝着这威士忌，感觉很清爽 😊，有点像海滩上的鹅卵石，很绵 soft的口感。有股涌入的海风味道，真的很海岸味道 🌊，很明显它是用海边自然材料酿制的。有一个奇怪的苦风味，可能是因为我之前吃了点点过度了。有一定长长的尾韵，有些很好喝，有些很好喝，一口气就过去了，我想它应该有20多年了，真的是闪闪发亮。有股羊毛的味道，有股橙柠檬的味道，有点点烟味，总体感觉是有点点咸的😊，但总的来说，还是很好喝的。

You know, this one really feels like standing on a windswept beach after a storm. First sip, there's this sharp, salty peat flavour that hits you right away – very coastal, like wet stones and sea spray. Then it opens up to some gruff, powerful coastal notes. I'm getting quite a lot of that peppery, almost briny character... and something like beach pebbles after rain. Very stripped back and direct, but with a nice depth hiding underneath. After a bit, these yeasty, almost lemony hints start to come through. It’s like a souped-up version of something familiar, you know? That salty quality just keeps coming back, with a sharp kick. Really wakes you up.
