Poured this pale gold dram tonight, and blimey, bottle ageing do these babies much good! I know some reckon fruity whiskies are a bit girly, but this is an absolute citrus bomb. It’s loaded with citrus fruits like orange, tangerines and grapefruits, with a nice hint of mango. It gets even zestier after a minute, reminds me of a sharp cool-climate riesling. Underneath all that fruit there's a touch of sweet candy sugar and a silky texture like olive oil. Cracking stuff 🥃

Pale gold in the glass, and it’s all citrus straight away — like pure tangerine juice, one orange, then loads of grapefruit and lemon. Feels a bit like limoncello crossed with mezcal, with a wee slick of olive oil and candy sugar. There’s half a mango hiding in there too, but honestly it’s 100% citrus vibes 🍊 Really sharp, like a cool-climate Riesling, and it just keeps going. Long and pretty amazing, actually.
