Just poured a dram, first nose is clean and soft with mint and fresh mushrooms, then a flash of blood orange and plum eau de vie. On the palate it’s dry, mossy and earthy, with pipe tobacco, toffee and a whisper of pepper, finishing with a hint of strong tea and a slightly hot, surprising variant vibe. 🥃

Blimey, that’s a proper surprise! Starts off all soft and fruity—tangerines and plums, almost like a boozy sangria. Then bam, a whiff of wood and strong tea, bit of a gamy kick too. Hints of toffee and kirsch linger, with a peppery warmth at the end. Clean finish, but that lemons signature’s still hanging around. Bit brutal, but in a good way 😅

Then comes this surprising flash of fresh mushrooms and damp earth, almost like walking through a forest after rain. First sip is a bit hot, but not sharp. More like a strong brew of tea that’s been steeped too long. There’s a deep, almost savoury quality from those wood extracts, layered with soft spices that linger. The fruitiness finally shows up – tangerines and a hint of plummy eau de vie. Catches you off guard, that burst of sweet against the heavier notes. Grass and parsley linger somewhere in the background, keeping it green. It’s a heavy dram, no doubt. Molasses and a touch of curry warmth on the finish. Defintely one to chew on slowly. 🍂

Blimey, this one hits you right off the bat, kinda brutal and slightly hot, you know? But then it softens right up into this lovely toffee and dried fruit thing, reminds me of prunes and blood oranges. 🍊 There's a real leathery, pipe tobacco vibe in the middle, very autumnal. Ends kinda dry, with this surprising variant of salad herbs and a hint of lemony signature. Proper complex, this is. Makes you think of earth and moss after a rain. Get this faint whiff of cardboardy or fresh mushrooms too, but in a good, interesting way. A proper winter dram for a contemplative evening.

This one's a proper rollercoaster. At first sip, it's quite brutal and slightly hot, like a spiky surprise. Then it softens, revealing soft spices and a kick of pepper. 🌶️ I'm getting a weirdly intriguing note of wine vinegar mixed with cardboard, which sounds awful but somehow works alongside the tangerines and earth. It’s like walking through a damp forest after rain – moss and fresh mushrooms underfoot. Later on, it turns fruity and deep. Prunes, plum eau de vie, a bit of gamy leathery character. There’s also a surprising variant of citrus, like blood oranges and that lemony signature, but it’s all weighed down by something heavy, like strong tea or molasses. The finish is medium long and dry. Herbal, with parsley and maybe some curry spices lingering. A final hint of pipe tobacco and grass. Definitely not your typical easy sipper – it's a deeply infused, complex beast.
