Really pale and sharp, a bit like thin white wine with lemon squeezed over wet stones. Then this briny gherkin thing pops up, with raw smoky peat and a wee tarry edge. There’s a burnt barley feel too, plus just a tiny dusting of cocoa at the end. Quite punchy, seaside-y, and a bit wild 😅

Very pale, almost like white wine in the glass, but the smell is pure young Islay to me — raw peated barley, lemony brine, gherkins, wet stones, a bit fierce 😅 Feels rough and tough, in a good way. Like Scotland’s mezcal, all smoke, salt, burnt edges and a wee touch of tar. The finish just hangs around the same for ages.
