Just had a dram from this new distillery and it's quite something. First thing I get is a hot and raw, spirity hit that feels a bit unaged. There's a creamy note, like sour cream or warm butter, with a tangy yogurt at cask strength thing going on. Oddly, I get a whiff of fish, and then sour apples come through. It's definitely less harsh and rough than some new makes, but with its white colour and that Swiss-Japanese packaging, I'd say it's not quite the kind of unaged spirit anyone should throw into the market just yet. Needs more maturation, I think. 🤔

Warm and a bit sweet, with a gentle smoky kick 🥃 Feels cosy, slightly spicy, and nicely mellow. A wee bit oaky at the end, but not too heavy. Cheers.

First sip, it hits with a smoky warmth, like a campfire on a chilly night 🔥 Then comes a sweet, fruity note – bit of apple or pear, maybe 🍐 Goes down smooth, no harshness, just a lovely warmth in the belly. Finish is long, with hints of vanilla and wood. Quite moreish, really. 😌

Just had a sip – wow, this whisky's got a real peaty kick with some lovely honey sweetness 🍯. I also taste hints of caramel and fruit, maybe a bit of spice too. Finish is quite smoky and oaky. 🥃😊 Sometimes it's a bit tannic, but overall, smashing stuff!
