今天尝了这款威士忌,第一口就闻到 cinnamon 和 toasted brioche 的香气,挺温馨的。 classic vanilla 的甜味很突出,但有点 acetone-y 的感觉,像啤酒酱料混着 poppy sweets。 😅 caraway 的香料味和 butterscotch 的奶油感很搭,lavender 的花香让我想起花园。整体 smokier,像 stout 啤酒,molasses 和 toasted oak 带来深度。 不过 burns 有点厉害,像 surgical spirit,lethal strength 啊! 🥵 coconut 和 rye bread 的联想很有趣,fresh oak 像木匠的工作室。 回味 long finish,但 strength 太 brutal 了,polymorphous 的味道,darker 的 gold 酒体,perfectly normal strength?简直太猛了。

Crikey, that’s a proper kick. First sip hits with butterscotch and cinnamon, warming right through. It’s got that toasty oak thing going on, a bit like charred brioche. There’s a hint of something darker, maybe molasses, and the finish just lingers forever. Straight out the bottle, it’s almost brutal, but a drop of water brings out floral notes and a bit of coconut. Makes me think of a carpenter’s workshop on a sunny day. Cheers!

Gold in the glass, big hit of fresh oak and vanilla straight away. Bit of acetone and surgical spirit at first, then it settles into toasted brioche, butterscotch and cinnamon. Quite spicy, woody, and a touch floral with lavender 🌾 Feels strong — proper burns a bit — but there’s molasses, stout, rye bread and buckwheat coming through. Finish is smokier, oaky, and really rather long. Bit rugged, like a working lumberjack dram 🪵🥃

第一口下去就感觉比平时喝的那些更带劲,烟味明显但不会太呛,有种走进木工房的那种木头香,混合着一点点烤面包的焦香。 肉桂和黄油糖的甜在后面慢慢出来,但整体还是挺结实的口感,不加水直接喝反而觉得更有意思。 隐约有点花香和椰子味儿,但转眼就被更强烈的香料感盖过去了,尾调有点像黑啤加了点香料。 啊,喝完嘴里还留着一股温暖的辛辣,挺适合今天这种阴雨天 😌

Warm and a bit smoky, with honey, dried fruit and gentle oak. Feels cosy, slightly spicy, and quite moreish 🥃 Nice wee winter dram.
