bloody hell, this dram’s absolutely lush innit? 🥃 It’s got that warm gold hue first off, smells straight of fresh coconut and candied bitter oranges even before you sip. Take a mouthful and it’s thick, sappy, a bit waxy and rich but not heavy at all, all that vanilla and lychee fruitiness pops first, little hint of curcuma warm spice, plus that wood’s menthol and eucalyptus note just lifts the whole thing. Got that lovely white pepper kick and juniper edge, spiciness gets way more complex as it sits on the tongue, right? Even subtle touches of salt and tinned pineapple come through. The aftertaste’s got caraway seeds and clove, little resinous oils linger for ages, so smooth and proper great old style vibe, so very potent but so moreish 😍
