Honestly this one’s just very lovely, very well-behaved too 😌 goes down rather easily, no harshness at all which is such a bonus it’s a small batch release, you can tell the care went into it you get that delicate and discreet touch of oak first, then nougat, honey, fresh vanilla, a little ground cinnamon, even overripe apple notes tucked in the back tastes just like a warm large plum tarte with stewed rhubarb, even bits of clafoutis and very ripe mirabelles peaking through medium length finish, soft chamomile, other herbal teas, fresh pollen, even a little zing of orange juice has that old-fashioned restraint, nothing over the top, proper elegance, quite something special if I’m honest. Superb for a quiet evening 🥃
