Tonight's dram is a tricky one. First sip, it’s like smoked beers crossed with sharp medicine, that peppery kick really hits. 🤔 Colour is bright straw, but the taste is… austere. Very dry, Loads of limestone, almost gritty. Wild garlic and sour herbs pop in, then it shifts to stale malt and mashed veg. Honestly, it feels rather all over the place. There’s a coal scuttle smokiness, low lying feelings of peat, then suddenly this grassy, beery stuff. A slowly emerging waxy side tries to smooth things out but doesn’t quite get there. Very tough, even a bit of yoghurt and farmyard cider weirdness. Finish is arid, with a crushed flower stem and vase water vibe. Like five whiskies stitched together by a one-armed lunatic. There are elements I really quite enjoy, but the whole is really quite all over the place. A sappy, concrete of a drink. 🥃

Bit of a wild dram, honestly 😅 Starts all grassy, beery and a bit mashed veg, then goes off into olive oil, chalky stone, vase water and farmyard cider. There’s a sharp medicinal edge, some low peat, smoked tea, stale malt and banana bread popping up now and then. Feels dry, funky, a bit austere, but strangely I keep finding wee bits I like. Proper odd one.

Sipping this one, the nose hits with bright straw and a sharp medicinal streak – wild garlic popping up too. It's discombobulating really, like a coal scuttle of flavours: smoked teas, peppery, and hints of banana bread. 🤔 The mouthfeel is gritty, loads of limestone, and that waxy side slowly emerges but it's all rather all over the place. Back on austerity up to 11, very tough. 🥲 Finishes with wee inflections of silage, smoked beers, and a touch of concrete – like five whiskies stitched together by a one-armed lunatic. 😅 Still, elements I really quite enjoy, even with the aniseed and yoghurt vibes.

Quite cosy, this one 🥃 I get a bit of honey, gentle spice, and some dried fruit. Feels warm and easy-going, with a wee oaky finish. Nice for a slow evening, honestly.

Lovely warm dram 🥃 Bit of honey, toasted oak and a wee smoky tingle. Feels cosy, mellow, with a dry spicy finish. Nice after a long day, honestly.
