Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right then, had a wee dram tonight. 🥃 Nose is proper smoky, like peat fires near the coast. 🌊 Taste hits warm, honey and spice. 🍯 Finish lingers long... proper comforting. Definately one to savour slowly. 🔥 Cheers.

Oh mate, this one's proper mellow, init? 🥃 Smooth as silk, with a right smoky vibe. Got hints of vanilla and oak too, init? Not too harsh, just lovely. Cheers! 😋

Bloody hell, that's a nice dram. 🥃 Got suttin sweet, like caramel and vanilla... wait, is that a bit of baked apple? Yeah, maybe. Touch of smoke, but not a bonfire, more like a distant chimney. Mouthfeel's smooth, then a spicy kick at the end. 🔥 Lingering warmth, that's the good stuff. Another sip... yeah, there's a hint of nuttiness. Almonds? Walnuts? Can't tell. Cheers to that. 👍

Right, had a dram of this one tonight and honestly it's lovely 😊 First thing you get is this gorgeous sweetness, like proper caramel and a bit of honey going on. Then there's this subtle smokiness that creeps in - not overpowering, just a gentle hint of peat that keeps things interesting. Bit of vanilla in there too, and some fruity notes... maybe cherry? Quite floral on the nose actually 🌸 The finish is warm and a touch spicy, lingers nicely. You can tell it's been sat in good oak for a while - there's that classic woody depth to it. Overall just a really pleasant, easy-drinking whisky. Would happily have another glass tbh 🥃

Smoky notes hit first 🌫️, then some sweet honey and a bit of fruit. Smooth finish with a spicy kick – really enjoyin' it! 😊

6#6

Blimey, this one's got a proper kick to it! 🥃 First sniff's all smaoky peat, like a bonfire on a damp beach. Then you get this reallly nice sweet bit – could be honey or maybe dried fruit? A bit spicy too, like cinnamon. Finish is long and warm, leaves a sort of toasty, woody feeling. Quite bold, that. Really grows on ya. 👍

7#7

From a whisky lover's perspective, this one's got a soky start, almost peaty, with a hint of vanilla and honey. 🍯 The mouthfeel is smooth, like a bit of spice creeps in – cinnamon, maybe. 🌶️ Finish is long and warming, perfect for a chilly evening. ☕🔥 Cheers! 🥃
