Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right, poured myself a wee dram tonight. 🥃 Nose is quite warm, hint of hony maybe? Or pear. Hard to say exactly but pleasent. Taste hits smooth at first then a bit of spice kicks in. 🔥 Finish lingers nicely, dont want it to end too soon. Proper good for a rainy evening. Colur looks rich too. Rekon I'll have another glass tbh. 😌

Nose: Lovely bit of smoke, like a bonfire 🔥, with sweet honey and stewed fruit underneath. Palate: Spicy! Gets the tongue tingling. Orange peel and rich dark chocolate, maybe some oak. Finish: Long, warming, with a hint of that peat smoke lingering. Yummo 👅. A proper winter warmer, that is.

3#3

Well, I reckon this whisky's got a proper smoky vibe, like sitting by a fireplace. Starts off with a bit of honey sweetness, then some fruity hints creep in – maybe apple or pear? The finish is nice and long, with a subtle spicy kick. Really warming on a cold night. 🥃😊 Just sipping it now, and the initial taste is kinda bold, almost like a campfire. But then it mellows out, you get some vanilla or toffee notes. Smooth as silk, not too harsh. 👍 Oh, and there's a faint nutty undertone that lingers. Makes you want another sip, dunnit? 😋

Oh, this one's got a real nice aroma – think vanilla and a touch of smokiness. 🌟 On the palate, it’s smooth with hints of dried fruit and caramel. Finishes long with a gentle warmth. 😊 Sometimes I get a bit of honey and spice too. Really easy to sip! 🥃

This whisky's got a lovely smokey kick to it! 😋 The peaty notes blend with sum fruity sweetness. So warming and satisfying. Goes down smooth with a hint of vanilla and caramel. 🍂🔥

Right, so this one's got that classic cozy vibe, y'know? Starts off all warm and caramelly 🥃 like toffee apples at a bonfire. Then there's this bit of spicy kick, kinda spikey but nice. Ooh, and a hint of dried fruit, maybe raisins? After a while it gets all smoky 🔥 but soft, like distant woodsmoke. Finish is long and kinda malty. Really moreish. Could defo have another glass. 😎 A bit of everything going on, in a good way.
