刚开了一瓶，闻起来是那种很柔和的麦芽香，混着点饼干和湿石头的气息。🍋 多喝两口，就发现层次真的好丰富，有点像柠檬大麦水的清爽，又带点类似草药束和各种高汤的鲜美。最特别的是那一抹盐渍蜂蜜和石楠花蜂蜜的甜美，加上一点油脂感，让整体口感非常圆润顺滑。🍦 后面还能感觉到一点新鲜面包和淡淡的矿物质味。回味很长，很芬芳。整体感觉特别扎实有质感，比它兄弟版本感觉还要再好上那么一点点。👍

First thing I notice is this lovely honeyed sweetness, like salted honey drizzled over fresh bread, almost yeasty in a nice bakery kind of way. 🍯 Then comes this wonderful richness, kind of oily on the palate - reminds me a bit of good olive oil actually. There's something herbal there too, like bouquet garni or dried herbs from the kitchen cupboard. Getting some malty sinew underneath, quite textured really. A touch of wet rocks and straw, but in a pleasant earthy way rather than anything off-putting. The finish is easy and warm, with those brothy notes coming through - reminds me a bit of well-made stock with seasonings. There's this autolytic quality that's hard to place but quite moreish. Really lovely dram, consistent from nose to finish. One of those whiskies that just feels properly made, you know? 😊

这杯闻起来挺有意思的，先是那种蜂蜜的甜香，但又有点咸咸的感觉，像海风混着花蜜。仔细闻还有点柠檬的清新，底下藏着些草料和泥土气息，整体倒是比预想的柔和不少。 喝一口，舌头先触到一丝矿物感，接着涌上来的甜里带着点咸，有点像蜂蜜涂在烤面包上。后面慢慢浮出些香草和草药的滋味，很隐约。最让我惊喜的是收尾那一口，居然有点像家里自制味噌汤的醇厚感？过了好一会儿，喉咙里还留着温暖的麦芽香，慢慢变成晒干的稻草味道。 整体喝下来很舒服，没有太冲的酒精感。是那种可以慢慢咂摸的酒，每喝一口都能发现点新东西，挺适合周末傍晚放松的时候来一杯。😊

Right then, had a glass of this one last evening. First thing I got was a lovely lemon barley water note, really fresh and zesty, like a proper summer drink. Quite easy-going on the palate. As it sat, a bit of that autolytic, yeasty quality came through, think fresh bread dough. Beneath that is this solid malty sinew, a real backbone. The heather honey sweetness isn't cloying at all, it just rounds everything out beautifully. There's a richness there, like good olive oil, and a slight, almost savoury seasoning touch. Funny, there's a hint of something almost medical, but in a clean, apothecary way. And the mouthfeel? Lovely consistency with the nose. Finishes with a light mineral edge. Really quite a tad more approachable than I expected. Very pleasant indeed. 👍

Right, so this one’s got a tad more approachable feel right off—proper malty backbone but there’s something that elevates it above its sibling cask a notch, y’know? Nose is wonderfully rich and textured, lovely consistency with the palate too. biscuity. Like walking into a bakery that also happens to be storing straw and fresh linens. Globally more rounded and sweeter nose, lemony but not sharp, more like lemon barley water with a yeasty, light mineral tang underneath. The palate’s got that same malty sinew, maybe a faint fabric note? Like clean cotton with some seasonings sprinkled in. Almost a whisper of old-fashioned medical qualities—herbal, slightly antiseptic, like a bouquet garni steeping away. Then that autolytic richness rolls in, doughy and savoury, ties everything together nicely. 🍋🌾 Properly moreish.
