Caol Ila 2008 9 Years Single Malt Whisky

Cheers mate, just had a dram of this. 🥃 Colour is lovely amber. Nose is quite peaty, like a bonfire night 🔥. Taste is smooth... got that dark chocolate vibe 🍫. Finish lingers warm. Reckon it's a proper good one. Definately buying another bottle. 👍

Then it gets a bit spicy - cinnamon, maybe some clove. 🍯🍎 The finish is long and gentle. Leaves a lovely warmth in the chest, with a hint of dark chocolate and... is that fig? 🤔 A solid, comforting drink for a quiet evening. Cheers! 🥃

Right, so like... this one’s got a proper smoky nose, yeah? Kinda like a bonfire but with a bit of buttery apple pie underneath. Taste-wise, it’s warm an’ spicy, with some caramel sweetness comin’ through. Finishes long, a bit dry, maybe a hint of toasted oak. Oh, an’ there’s this lovely note of dried fruit an’ a touch of leather in there too. 🥃

Felt a bit like Christmas cake in a glass. 🎄 Finish was long, warming, left this kinda sweet and slightly smoky thing lingering. Got a bit of a kick at the end, y'know. 💨 Nice one for a chilly evening. Proper good stuff. 👍
