Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Aye, this one’s a proper coastal dram 🌊 Loads of bonfire reek & briny sea air, like standin by an old harbour Touch of TCP & plasters – in a good way 😉 Behind that, a wee bit of honey’d porridge & ripe pear 🍯🍐 The finish is long, warm, peppery, with a curl of earthy peat Solid, no nonsense. Just whisky that *feels* like a rainy November eve in the Hebrides.

Ooh, this whisky’s got a real kick to it! 😊 First sip, you get that lovely smokiness, like a campfire on a chilly night. Then it mellows out with some sweet, fruity notes – kinda reminds me of ripe apples and a touch of honey. The mouthfeel is smooth as, with a warm, spicy finish that lingers. Proper enjoyable, innit? 🥃 Really makes you feel all cozy inside. Cheers! 👍

Well, this whisky's got a real golden glow to it. 🥃 First sip, you get that warm smoky hit, like a cozy fireplace. There's a bit of fruitiness in there, maybe some apple or pear, and a touch of honey sweetness. The mouthfeel is smooth, almost creamy, and it finishes with a long, warm glow that just lingers. Really delightful, innit? 😊 Oh, and don't mind the occasional typo—keeps it real!

Oh mate, proper lovely this one 😍 Rich and smooth from the start, lovely dark fruit and warm spice notes. Caramel and vanilla sweetness coming through nicely. Smoky finish, bit of peat and oak in there 🥃 Touch of honey too, very moreish Slightly burnt toffee on the palate, hints of citrus and dried nuts. Malty character with a bit of herbal edge. Cracking stuff honestly, warmth lingers nicely 👌

Oh mate, this whisky's proper nice! 👃 Got a real smoky vibe at first, like a bonfire on Guy Fawkes night. Then some sweet notes come through, maybe honey or dried fruit? 🍯 Taste-wise, it's smooth but with a bit of a kick – warms you right up. 🔥 I'm getting hints of oak and vanilla, sort of like a cozy kitchen in winter. Finish is long and satisfying, leaves a nice warmth in the chest. Luvly stuff, just what you need after a dodgy day. 😊 Only downside? Can be a tad harsh if you overdo it, but that's part of the charm, innit? 🥃
