Right, had a wee dram tonight. 🥃 Nose is lovely, warm spice n maybe some orchard fruit? Palate... smoth yeah. Got that honeyed sweetness creepin in. Finish lingers nicely without burnin. Perfect for a rainy eve innit. ☔️ Mightve misread the notes but tastes proper good. Cheers mates. 🍻

Alright this dram’s got a proper wild nose right off – vanillla, digestive bikkie 🍪, honey’d aple and a right oaky whiff. Sea salt caramal sneaks in too, bit of a new makey edge but in a good way. Palate hits with swete spice, biscit, rich butterscotch, coffee ☕ and a cheeky liqorice note. Mid-palate opens up with some red fruites, piney, a wisp of peat smoke 🔥 and a touch of fenolic air. There’s a wee ashy, burnt sugar thing goin on, but it stays soft. Finish is enorm long – apricot, mocha, a tang of orang peel, and gentle dry tannin that hangs about. Cracking dram, really 🥃.

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper lovely hunny and smoky taste 🍯🔥 Fruity hints too, like ripe apples. Goes down smooth, innit? 😋

Okay, so trying this one. At first sniff, it’s quite… spicy? Like, not hot spicy, but… aromatic spices. Cinnamon maybe, nutmeg? Definitely some warmth coming through already. 🔥 Taking a sip… Hmm. It’s got a bit of a sharp kick upfront, then it mellows. Getting some sweet notes now. Something fruity, but not fresh fruit… more like stewed plums or raisins? And a sort of creamy, vanilla-ish thing underneath. Quite complex for a first taste. 🥃 The finish is interesting. There’s a lingering warmth, and I swear I’m getting a hint of smoke. Not like a bonfire, more like… smoked wood or maybe even a charred note. And something slightly nutty, like toasted almonds. The spices from the nose come back here too. It sticks around for a good while. Quite the experiance. 😋 Overall impression? It’s robust. Has layers. Starts bold, gets sweeter in the middle, and finishes with that smoky warmth. Would defs try this again on a cold evening. 👍
