刚倒了一杯浅金透亮的， knocked it back propper slow 🥃 先是 peat smoke 混着 smoky grassiness 蹭上鼻子，还有点苦橙酒和柑橘的甜香气，底下藏着皮革和甘草的味儿，混着点蜡感和柴油的古怪香气居然一点都不冲 mouth feel 顺得离谱， sharp spices 慢慢在舌尖炸开，后面 tertiary 的风味一层层上来，像老煤炉旁边摆着插了水的花瓶的那种旧旧的舒服感 后段 roaring 的厚重底韵裹着老橙酒的甜， balance 得刚刚好，咽了之后 aftertaste 留着烟熏和甘草的味，太 facy 了 连我这种平时 anti-maltoporn 懒得跟风吹单一麦芽的人都想多喝两杯

honestly lately i’ve been lowkey obsessed with this pour 🥃 the mouth feel is perfect right off the bat, that faint vase water crispness hits first then you get bright citrus and bitter orange liqueur zing, balance is achieved so effortlessly i almost chuckled there’s a lovely liquorice thread running through, a hint of leather tucked mid-palate, plus that waxy texture on the tongue? so good you get that gentle peat smoke humming in the background, a funky little engine oil and metallic/mineral edge that reminds me of old 1980s Clynelishes drams, and the finish lingers with that warm old orange liqueur sweetness, absolutely fabulous even if you’re part of the anti-maltoporn brigade like me

Blimey, this one’s absolutely fabulous innit? 🤌 First you get that soft vase water hit, then waxy things like old candle wax that’s been stuffed in a drawer for donkey’s years. Then that rich old orange liqueur sweetness creeps in, before peat smoke and smoky grassiness roll in like a warm summer evening round a bonfire. There’s a little metallic/mineral tang a bit like metal polish, hints of leather from my old work jacket, even a faint whiff of engine oil from when I was fixing my mate’s car last week. Balance is achieved perfectly, mouth feel is perfect too — thick but not cloying — with that warm old coal stove note at the back and a tiny touch of light cough syrup to round the whole lot off. So many lovely tertiary notes, just chef’s kiss 👌

Pale gold in the glass, first whiff’s like an old coal stove puffing away in the background. Sip it and there’s this waxy, almost floral thing, then a hit of diesel oil and peat smoke—proper roaring stuff. Citrus peeks through, sharp spices linger, and the mouthfeel? Fabulous. Leather and a long, warm aftertaste. Just right. 🥃

Ah, right, this one’s a proper time machine in a glass, isn’t it? You get this light cough syrup sweetness right up front, but it’s quickly chased by this fascinating, waxy thing – like polishing an old brass lamp. Then there’s the fruit, but it’s not fresh; it’s old orange liqueur, and a bit of bitter orange liqueur right at the edges. 🍊 There’s this whole industrial vibe going on too. A bit of engine oil, a whiff of diesel oil… somehow it works with the smoky grassiness and the faint memory of an old coal stove. The mouthfeel is just perfect, honestly. It feels… tertiary, if that makes sense. Complex. All these layers – the leather, the mineral side, that hint of metal polish – they’re all in perfect balance. Fabulous stuff. 👍
