Whiskyspace Notes 2122

Blimey, this one’s a right oddity. First sip hits you with this black chocolate richness, but then outta nowhere comes a whiff of bicycle inner tube – yeah, proper weird. The tarry side lingers, like something’s been left in the garage too long. But wait, there’s honey and chestnut honey weaving through, sweet but not cloying, with a hint of lemon peel to cut it. Rhubarb pies and fruity pies dance on the tongue, tangy and unexpected, while Funny guavas add this tropical twist that shouldn’t work but kinda does. The texture’s bigger than other grains, even older ones, and the finish? Surprisingly long, with a rubber a tad note that’s oddly comforting. Not sure what to make of it all, but it’s kept me curious till the very last drop 🥃
