Full gold in the glass, smells very sweet straight away, loads of vanilla and a buttery milk chocolate thing. There’s a bit of ginger and cinnamon warmth, plus ripe apricot and plum, but also some raw hot spirit poking through. Bit grassy in the back, like newly cut lawn 🌾 Feels simple, oaky and warming, the sort of hipflask dram I’d take on a cold walk, rough round the edges but not bad.
