Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right then, had a wee dram tonight. 🥃 Smells proper warm, like dried fruit and oak. 🪵 Taste is smooth, sweet at first then a little spice. Finish lingers nicely, makes you wanna sit by the fire. 🔥 Reckon it's a good one for a rainy evning. Bit of water opens it up a treat. Cheers! 🍻 Definetly feeling cozy now.
Right, had a dram last nite 🥃. Nose is proper smoky, like walkin past a peat fire 🔥. Got some sweet fruit underneath, maybe dried apples or somethin. Taste hits smooth then spice kicks in. Cinnimon perhaps? Finish lingers on forever. Warmth in the chest 😌. Definatly comforting stuff for a rainy evenin. Cheers mates 🍻.
Right then, poured a bit of this earlier. 🥃 Nose is fruity, apples and pears mostly. 🍏 Then a hint of woodsmoke comes through. 🪵 Flavour is sweet at first, then smoky. Warmth spreads out quick. Finish is medium, maybe a bit dry? Proper nice for a rainy eveing. Cheers! 🍻
Right, so this one’s quite lovely. Getting some ripe plums and baking spices on the nose. A bit of dark chocolate too. 🍫 The palate is surprisingly smooth. There’s a definite oaky vanilla, but it’s balanced with a touch of honey and... is that orange peel? Yeah. Rather nice. 🍯🍊 Finish is warm and medium-length. The spiciness comes back with a gentle, smoky whisper. Very moreish. Not too heavy, not too light. Just... proper. 👌 A good sipping dram for a chill evening. Really grows on you.
Right, so this one's got quite a complex nose, innit? 🤔 Lots of orchard fruit, like stewed apples and pears, mixed with a bit of vanilla custard. There's a wiff of somthing floral too, maybe heather honey. 🍯 Taste-wise, it's smooth as. You get a nice hit of that fruitiness first, then it kinda develops into a richer, sort of nutty and slightly spicy thing. Oaky, but not too much. It's got a lovely, warming finish that lingers. Quite moreish! 😋✨ A bit of chcolatey bitterness comes through at the very end, which is quite nice actually. Enjoyed this one. 🥃
