Tomatin 1996 13 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a go with this one last weekend 🥃 Nose — loads of vanilla and honey straight off, proper warm and inviting. Bit of dried fruit lingerin about too, maybe some shery sweetness? Really lovely Palate — oh that's smooth as. Caramel and dark chocolate comin through nicely, with a cheeky bit of spice - cinammon I reckon. Faint citrus keeps things fresh though 🍋 Finish — medium length, nice and warming. That oak note comes out at the end, tiny hint of smoke. Really moreish init Sat with this on a rainy Tuesday and honestly didnae want it to end 😌 just a solid, comfortin dram

First sip, got a burst of honey sweetness right away 🍯 Then some smokiness creeps in, sorta like a cozy bonfire 🔥 Fruity notes too – I reckon apple or pear, maybe? Vanilla smoothness makes it super drinkable. A bit of spice at the end, real nice 👌
