Right, so poured myself a dram tonight and wow, that nose is just classic bourbon - sweet maize and vanilla hitting you straight away, maybe a touch of popcorn too. There's this lovely golden colour in the glass that just looks inviting. On the palate it's quite sweet, getting some white chocolate and fudge notes coming through, with a bit of coconut there too. The mouthfeel is medium, not too thin but nothing crazy thick either. There's this spicy honey thing going on that's really nice. A mate asked me what I thought and honestly, it's very good. Like, maybe even too perfect in a way? Everything's just so well put together. Not earthshattering or anything, but a proper solid pour. Getting some maple syrup and a bit of sawdust character from the Chinquapin oak on the finish. Just a good honest bourbon really 🥃 Could drink this all evening tbh
