Blimey, this one’s a proper treat! The nose hits you with this rich, full gold warmth, like a spiced tea cake fresh from the oven, and I absolutely loved the nose—floral, honeyed, with a whiff of orange blossom water dancing around. On the palate, it’s a bit simpler than I expected, but in a good way, sort of like sipping high-quality bourbon with a splash of cider. There’s this spicy oak vibe, not exactly sweet, but cinnamon and pepper give it a kick without going overboard. Calvados and apples come through, along with a hint of cranberry juice, making it fruity but grounded. The oak’s louder than I’d like at the end, though, drying and quite long, with a touch of chamomile and sandalwood lingering. Not sure about the Geranium jelly bit—it’s a bit odd, but in a complex, intriguing way. All in all, a bold dram that’s both familiar and surprising! 🥃
