Sipped it and instantly thought of fresh stewed rhubarb with a hint of gooseberries – almost like a lemon tart with meringue and tiny zest bits. There's a soft, light citrus feel, but a bit of chalky mouth‑feel comes through, like sucking on a tiny piece of chalk or a dab of liquid plaster. A tad grassier than I expected, and a little too sour/yeasty, almost like a young Bladnoch gone a touch sourdough‑y. The yoghurt‑like smoothness tries to balance the very chalky, lemony background, but it stays a bit singular, a different kind of gold‑coloured sip. 🍋🙂
