Blackadder (黑蛇) is an acclaimed independent bottler founded in 1995 by Swedish whisky connoisseur Robin Tucek. Operating with a quality-over-quantity philosophy, this relatively young company upholds profoundly traditional principles, seeking to revive the heritage of single cask spirits as they were savored a century ago. Blackadder bottles only the purest expression of whisky—unfiltered, undiluted, and uncolored. The brand steadfastly rejects modern industrial practices: no chill filtration, no water dilution, and absolutely no caramel coloring, preserving each cask's authentic character, natural mouthfeel, and original flavor integrity in its most genuine form.

Oh wow, this is a bit special. It definately feels like taking a walk through the meadows on a sunny afternoon—lots of straw and dry hay, with a tad greener note to it and a bit more citrus popping up. There's this earthy, almost 'good' dung character going on, but it's a notch less mineral. Same style as that cracking 1999 release I love. Get quite a bit of vanilla too, before it gets more peppery on the finish. And it's a very long one! Honestly, this is simply as superb as that '99 bottle and would defeat many young Islayers. Absolute stunner 🥃🌾

Lovely drop, really. Gets me thinking of hay, damp earth and a stroll through the meadows after rain 🌾 There’s a bit more citrus and vanilla than I expected, a notch less stony, maybe slightly greener and pepperier too. That earthy farmyard thing is there, but in a nice clean way. Very easy to sit with.

Well, this is a proper lovely dram. Feels earthy in that farmyard-in-a-good-way sort of mood, with straw, hay and a damp meadow walk after rain 🌾 There’s a bit more citrus and vanilla than I expected, then it turns slightly greener and peppery. The finish just goes on and on, warm and quietly smoky, honestly a cracking sip.

It's got this tad greener note, with vanilla and hay – feels like a walk through the meadows 🌿. Earthy and straw-like, with more peppery kick. A notch less mineral, but the finish is very long. Well, this is simply as superb as some classic bottlings and would defeat many young Islays. 😊

Sweet start, like honey 🍯 Then some smoke, not too heavy 🔥 Kinda fruity, maybe apples? Vanilla and wood notes, luvly 😋 Bit of spice at the end 👌 Overall, really nice for a rainy day 🥃
