Got a dram in the evening and it hits like hand‑charred toast with a bit of burnt sugar. Right away I’m thinking of cornflakes doused in golden syrup, then a splash of Darjeeling tea. There’s a cheeky burst of apricots and ripe melon, almost like biting into a freshly‑picked nectarine, while a hint of citrus pith keeps it bright. A subtle cough‑medicine note sneaks in, but it’s quickly drowned by sweet rye‑bread and a touch of honeyed mustard‑like spice. The finish is long, a bit oily like sunflower oil on a warm biscuit, with a lingering peppery warmth that makes me want to sprawl out on the sofa and just savour it. 🍯🙂
