Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Nose: got some lovely honey and vanilla straight away, bit of caramel sweetness comin through too 🍯 Palate: mmm, quite smooth actually. Gettin some dried fruit, maybe a touch of apple? There's a gentle smokiness in the background, not overwhelmin at all. Little bit of spice creepin in, cinnamon maybe? 🍎 Finish: medium length, leaves ya with this warm toffee note and a whisper of oak. Quite morish realy 👌 Overall: easy drinker this one, nice for a quiet evenin. Would pair well with a bit of dark chocolate me thinks. Definately one I'd keep commin back to 🥃

Ah, first sip, mate... quite warm, a bit of a hug. 🥃 Right, so... a bit of honey? No wait, more like... burned caramel? 🔥 Aye, that's it. And something like old leather. 👞 Then you get this smoky thing, but not like a campfire... more like a extinguished candle wick. 🕯️ A tiny bit of orange peel, maybe. The finish is long, warming. A bit woody, like sitting in an old library. 🪵 Nice, that. Quite nice indeed. Oh, and a sort of... creamy vanilla at the very end? 🍦 Yeah, that's spot on.

Proper lush, this one! Starts wiv a right smoky peat hit 🔥 but then mellows into some creamy caramel an' a bit of honey. Got a nice bit of oak spice, kinda like cinnamon sticks, an' maybe a touch of dried fruit in the back. Not too sweet, not too dry – just right balanced. Gets a little nutty as it lingers, an' there's a faint whiff of somethin' herbal, like heather or grass. 🌿 Feels smooth on the tongue, nice an' warm all the way down. Leaves ye with a salty, seaside kinda memory. Proper good for a slow sip. 👍
