Loch Lomond 2010 7 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram of this last nite 🥃 Nose is proper smoky, remins me of a bonfire 🔥. Got some vanilla underneath too. Taste? Warmth hits straight away. Some orchard fruit, maybe apple 🍎. Peat comes thru strong but not overpowering. Finish lingers quite a while. Smooth though. Reckon it's a good one for a cold eveing. Would definetly have another. Cheers! 🍻

The peat’s there, but it’s more like smouldering heather than an ashtray. 🌊🌿 Finish hangs about for ages. Oaky warmth, a final whisper of bonfire, and just a kiss of dark chocolate bitterness to balance the sweet. Dead moreish. 🍫✨ Could do with a splash of water to wake up the citrus pith, mind. Cracking fireside sipper, this.
