Had a right proper cracking dram the other day mate 🥃 Not dry at all, especially in the finish, with that lovely little sweet vanilla and superb fruitiness going on – proper bright Seville oranges that play the fruity part perfectly, none of that fake sugary nonsense. Ton of marzipan, fresh almonds, even a touch of liquorice, plus that unusually smoky hit with high oak extraction, so the oak is loud but in a good way, great one if you’re not afraid of oak honestly. Then you get that tad resinous/sappy, extremely mentholated zing, the peppery and mustardy tones are most beautiful, with that musty/mineral little edge too. Tad drying now as it fades, drier than the start, shortish experience but the finish hangs around just enough, even gives a little whiff of old rums and straw at the very end? Perfect! Very interesting whisky altogether.

Wasn't expecting that smoky punch upfront, but it's got this weirdly beautiful peppery kick with mustardy notes that really grab you. The fruitiness? Bloody superb – Seville oranges and kumquats dancing around a core of real vanilla pods. No artificial stuff here, just that old rum vibe mixing with straw and a tad of resin. Oak's definitely in charge, but it's not too much – just the right balance. The finish? Super mentholated, like someone shoved a eucalyptus stick in there. A bit drying now, but still loads of character. Definitely one for the oak lovers. 🥄🔥

Oh, this whisky's got a lovely smoky vibe with some fruity hints and a bit of a spicy kick. Really smoothe going down! 😊 Mmm, I can taste a touch of sweetness too, like caramel or something. Nice one! 🥃
