Glentauchers 2009 10 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, so this one’s got a proper orchardy nose—apple crumble, maybe a hint of pear. 🍐 First sip, it’s all toffee and a soft woodiness, like wanderin’ through an old barn. Bit of spice creepin’ in, nutmeg I think, and a wee touch of dark honey. 🍯 The finish stays for a bit, kinda chewy, with this faint salted caramel thing. Not gonna lie, it’s a cosy wee dram. Would hit the spot on a rainy Tuesday.

Blimey, this whisky's proper nice – got that smoky warmth, with a bit of vanilla and honey sweetness. Smooth on the tongue, and the finish is long and spicy. Really enjoyed it on a cold night. 👍🔥

just had a sip, kinda like a campfire in my mouth? smoky... but not harsh, more like burnt toast with honey on it. oooh, that warm finish lingers! like cinnamon and old oak barrels. definately some zesty orange peel hiding in there too 👀 Cheers to that one! 🥃

Just had a dram, quite a nice one. Nose is lovely – got some floral notes 🌸, like honeyed heather, and a touch of malty sweetness. The palate’s proper warming. Spicy cinnamon, some dried fruit 🍇, and a whisper of oak. Reminds me of a cosy night by the fire. Finish is long, a bit smoky 🔥, fading into a gentle warmth. Really grows on ya. Sláinte! 👍
