Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right then, poured a dram earlier 🥃. Nose is lovely, hints of tofee and maybe some pear? 🍐 Gets me feelin cosy straight away. Pallet is rich, bit of oak and spice kicking in 🌿. Swallow is warm, no burn at all. Finish lingers like a warm blanket 🔥. Bit rainy outside too 🌧️. Proper nice way to end the day. Cheers! 🍻
Right, had a nip of this earlier. 🥃 Nose is lovely, smoky like a peat bog. 🔥 Taste hits warm, sweet hony first then peper spice. Goes down smooth, warms the chest proper. Finish lingers... oak and sea salt maybe. 🌊 Dont know the name but feels like a hug in a glass. Proper good whiskys for a rainy day. 🌧️ Cheers. 🍻
Right, had a wee sip just now 🥃. Feels warm going down, like a hug inside 🔥. Taste is sweetish, honey and maybe pears 🍐. Not harsh at all, very smooth on the throat. Leaves you feeling proper relaxed afterwards. Definitly one to enjoy slowley. Cosy vibe all round 🏠.
Right then, let’s give this a proper go. Nose is pure sticky toffee pud 🍮, dark chocolate orange, and a wee whisper of dried fruit—raisins, dates, maybe a touch of fig. Palate’s smoth and oily, coats yer mouth with honey’d vanilla and a sudden prickle of warm spice; cinnamon, clove, and a tiny crack o’ black pepper. Then comes a gentle wave of peat smoke and brine, just enough to give it a savoury edge without bullyin’ the sweeter bits. Finish is long, waxy, with fading campfire ash and salted caramal that hangs about for ages. Cracking dram, this. Could sip it all night. 🔥
Right, had a proper taste of this one tonight... fruity kick at first, like ripe pears 🍐 then got this lovely warming bit. Caramelly, yeah? A bit of toffee apple on the nose. Finish was all spicy oak, not too sharp though. Really mellow, actually. Top dram for a chilly evening 👍 Hic! One more sip... now there's a hint of... dark chocolate? 🍫 Spicy, like a bit of cinnamon. Altogether, a solid, comforting pour. No complaints 'ere.
First sip: wow, that's a punchy smoke, like sitting by a campfire. 🔥 Then comes a sweet fruity thing, kinda like apples? 🍎 Bit of vanilla after, smooth as anything. Lovely! 😋
Right, had a dram tonight and wanted to jot down my thoghts 🥃 Nose: imediate smoke and some honey sweetness, like a campfire near a meadow Palate: quite smooth actually, creamy mouthfeel with warm spices 🍯 bit of caramel and vanilla, maybe some dark fruit notes Finsh: long and warming, the peat lingers nicely with some oak slight citrus zing at the end which I quite liked 🍊 Overall: realy pleasant sipper, perfect for a quiet evening in the balance between sweet and smoky is spot on 👌 would def have again. cheers lads 🏴
Ooh right then, had a proper dram last night and honestly? It was lush 🥃 Creamy texture, smooth as anything on the tongue. Got that lovely honey sweetness comin through first, then a bit of vanilla and caramel sittin in there. Really nice balance like. Felt quite fruity actually, maybe some apple or pear? Deffo gettin some woody notes from the oak, bit of spice too but not overpowerrin anything. Just kinda warming y'know? Earthy undertone givin it some depth which I quite liked. The finish was proper nice, lingered for a good while 👌 Honestly felt like sittin by a fireplace on a cold evening, just cozy and warm all over. Would deffo have another glass of that on a Friday night 🍂 Bit of caramel comin back at the end too, noice 👍
This whisky's got a lovely warmth, innit? 🍯 Notes of honey and a touch of smoke on the nose. Smooth as silk with some vanilla undertones. Really enjoyin' it by the fire. 😊 Sometimes, on a chilly eve, it's just perfect. 🔥
Aright, took a sip of this one. First hit's all smokeye and orange zest, like a Christmas candle, innit? Then comes this wicked loevly bit of honeycomb... makes it feel so smooth. Finish lingers a bit, got some nutty stuff in there? Proper lush dram for a chilly night. 🥃✨
Blimey, this whisky's got a right peaty punch! 🏴 A bit smoky too, lyk a campfire on a chilly nite. And there's a fruity note that sneeks up on ya – kinda lyk dried fruits. Spicy finish that warms ya right up. 😋
Right then, so this one's got a right proper nose on it. 🥃 Quite a bit of sweet toffee and some orange peel, maybe. A hint of woodsmoke and, blimey, is that vanilla? On the palate it's a bit of a smooth operator. That toffee and fruit come through again, with a lovely bit of spice at the back. Not too hot, mind. Quite a nice, warming finish. 👍 Honestly, it's a smashing wee dram. Just the ticket for a cold evening. Would defo have another.
Blimey, this one's a right proper dram! 😋 Got a nos eof vanilla an oak, with a hint o' citrus sneakin' in. Tastes a bit spicy, like cinnamon toast. 🥃 The finish is smoth and warm, leavin' a cozy glow. Cheers, mate!
