Whiskyspace Notes 1493

Just tried a whisky that's quite big and rich, a real treat. 🥃 On the nose, I get dry herbal teas and soot, like an old fireplace. There's a golden hue that reminds me of apple peelings and a hint of pepper. The higher ABV gives it a punch, but OB’s more precise profile shines through. Palate-wise, it's buttery with saltiness, and I taste cooked asparagus and walnuts. Sherry + peat makes for a smoked tea vibe, with notes of Pear and pineapple sweets. There's even something like yellow wine and leather, with a dressing of exhaust fumes, but it works. Finish is long, with pepper back in the aftertaste and a touch of Graphite. Very good overall, that saltiness lingers nicely. 😋

Got a bit of everything going on here. Starts with that lovely sherry and peat combo I always enjoy, but there's this salt note that cuts right through it – almost like a sea breeze mixed with the smoke. Then it gets interesting... I'm getting these weirdly specific Pear and pineapple sweets, like the ones you get in a pick 'n' mix, but also something greener? Cooked asparagus, maybe? And then a waft of something that reminds me of exhaust fumes strangely, but in a good way. The sherry influence is strong with lovely oranges, and there's a dry, peppery kick that comes back right at the very end, almost like gunpowder or graphite. Very, very good. 🥃

Yeah, this whisky's got a real peaty kick with some smoky notes. 🥃 A hint of honey and dried fruits too, mate. The finish is long and warming, almost like a cozy nite by the fire. 😊 Really smooth on the palate, innit? 👍 Blimey, the aroma hits you with vanilla and a bit of spice. 🍂 Tastes gud, like apple pie and caramel. So delightful! 😋

This whisky's got a right proper taste! 😊 First thing I notice is a smoky kick, like a bonfire on a chilly evening. Then it mellows out, sweet like honey with a touch of caramel. 🥃 A bit of spice too, warms you up from the inside. Goes down smothly, no harshness at all. Love how it lingers on the palate! 💪 Perfect for a nightcap. Cheers! 🍻

Right then, had a pour earlier 🥃. Smell is lovelly, like honey and a bit of peat 🔥. Goes down smoth, warms the chest proper nice. Finish is long, kinda spicy but pleasent. Feels like sitting by the fire on a rainy day. Proper good dram this one. Cheers! 🍻
