Cragganmore 1999 20 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram of this earlier tonight. Smell is proper smokey, like peat fires 🪵. Taste is warm, sweet then drys out. Oaky bits there too. Finish is long, feels cosy in the chest. Needs water to open it up definetly. Good for a quiet eveing innit. 🥃🌧️

Poured myself a wee dram, lovely golden colour. 🥃 First sip, reat - like, fruity, some apple maybe? Then it goes all warm an' spicy, ginger or cinnamon. Quite nice, not too harsh. Hmm, gettin' some toffee sweetness now, mixed with a bit of smoke. Wonderfully balanced. A reat one for a chilly evenin'. 👍 So smooth down the throat, very moreish. Don't want it to end. Absolutely lovey.

Nose: Bit o' smoke 🔥, but gentle like. Vanilla an' caramel with a hint o' orange peel. Palate: Oh, lovely! Dark chocolate, baked apples... an' wait, is that pineapple? 🍍 A nice warmth, not too spicy. Finish: Long, mellow. Leaves you with some toffee an' a touch of oak. Very moreish for a chilly nite. Proper comfortin' stuff, that. 👍

Right then, let's see. 🥃 Poured a glass, lovely amber colour. First thing that hits the nose is... honey? Yeah, and a bit of vanilla, maybe some dried fruit. Makes you want to take a sip straight away. On the tongue, it's smoothe. Really warm going down, like a hug for your throat. There's a bit of spice there, nutmeg or something, but it's not fierce. More of a slow burn. After a minute, you get this lovely, sweaet finish. Stays with you for a good while. Makes you just sit back and go "ahh". Proper comfort on a cold night. 👍
