Justpoured a dram that smells like orange jam and a touch of nutmeg, with caramel underneath. The wood is much less dominating than usual, giving a much cleaner feel, almost like a woodworker’s workbench after a light sanding. There’s quite some spices, hints of raw celeriac and cooked fruits, all wrapped in an amber hue – what a beautiful balance, rather powerful yet subtle. That’s excellent, Just great 😊

Alright then, poured myself a dram. The colour's a lovely deep amber. 🥃 First whiff... hot pastries straight from the oven, with a generous smear of orange jam. There's a subtle hint of something earthy, like raw celeriac, which is odd but not bad. On the palate... that's a rather powerful wave of cooked fruits and caramel. But what a beautiful balance! The wood doesn't dominate, it's more like the clean scent of a woodworker's workbench. Then comes a lovely warmth of quite some spices – nutmeg, maybe a bit of curry powder lingering in the background. Just great. The finish is long, warming, and surprisingly much cleaner than the nose suggested. That’s excellent. A very elegant and classy pour overall. 👍

Right then, poured myself a dram of this amber-hued beauty tonight. First thing I get on the nose is quite some spices – a lovely mix with nutmeg and peppered chocolate. Underneath, there are these whiffs of melted butter and hints of orange jam, which is quite inviting. On the palate, it's rather powerful initially, but then settles into something very elegant. I'm getting cooked fruits, maybe a bit of hot pastries fresh from the oven. There's a subtle, curry-like note that adds depth, and the sweetness from the caramel is there but not overpowering. What's nice is the wood – it's much cleaner than I expected, a woodworker’s workbench vibe but not dominating at all. It lets the fruit and spice notes shine through. There’s even a fleeting thought of cooked manioc or raw celeriac, which is unusual but interesting. The finish is where it all comes together – hints of that orange jam and chocolate linger. The balance is just beautiful. Classy stuff. 👍 Just great.

First sip... wow, what a beautiful balance here. 👍 There's quite some spices upfront, kinda like a mild curry. Got this interesting cooked manioc thing going on too? And then... whiffs of melted butter, just great. Later on, I'm thinking of hot pastries from the oven. That's excellent. It's very elegant, really Classy stuff. Subtle notes I keep picking up... hints of raw celeriac, weird but nice. A little later, peppered chocolate comes through. The finish is much cleaner, and suddenly I get this vivid image of a woodworker’s workbench. All while enjoying these cooked fruits in that lovely amber colour. Really solid, really well put together. Makes you wanna slow down and savour it. 😊

Lovely warm dram 🥃 Bit of honey, oak and citrus, with a soft smoky edge. Feels cosy, slightly spicy, and leaves a nice wee glow.
