Laphroaig 1998 20 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, just had a wee dram of this. 🥃 Nose is proper lovely, hint of smoke and maybe some dried fruit? Like raisins or something. Palate kicks in warm, spicy bit but not too much. Feels like honey and oak mixing together. Finish lingers on the tongue... definately satisfying. Good stuff for a rainy evening. 🌧️ Cheers!

Cor, this one's a proper coastal hug in a glass 🌊 Right off, you get this whiff of smouldering driftwood and a cheeky iodine tang – like sea spray but make it medicinal. Then it gets all sticky toffee pud and ginger snap on the palate, wi’ a nutty dark choc undertone that’s dead moreish 🍯🍫 Leathery warmth lingers, maybe a whisper of tart apple peel and that cask char. Definately one for a blustery eve, leaves yer lips smackin’ and a glow in yer chest 🔥 Aye, dram o’ the coast, no doubt.

First whiff's proper smoky, innit? 🤔 Like a campfire on a crisp autumn night. Then you get these lovely sweet notes – think burnt toffee and a bit of orange peel. Palate's smooth as anything, with a hint of spice that lingers. Really warms you up, this one. 🥃 Not too shabby at all.

Just tried this new dram, proper lush! First hit is like a cozy campfire – smoky but not too heavy 🔥. Then comes this lovely sweet thing, kinda like honey and vanilla mixed with ripe stone fruit 🍯🍑. The finish is dead warming, like a hug in a glass, with a bit of spicy oak lingering. Really easy to sip, but got enough depth to keep me interested. Loevly stuff for a quiet night in. 🥃

Oaky nose with a hint of vanilla and... is that citrus? 😋 Kinda smoky on the palate, maybe a bit of fruit too. Finish is long and warm, with a little spice kick. Alchol feels smooth but kinda assertive. tbh pretty complex for a casual sip.

Oh this one's proper complex! 🔥 Lots of smoky notes, but also got some sweet caramel and dried fruit in teh background. A bit spicy too, like cinnamon or something? Really lingers on the tongue. 🍯😋 Finish is long and warming, with a hint of oak. Very nice for a chilly evening.
