Caol Ila 2010 6 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, poured a measure tonight. 🥃 First sniff... got that peat smoke straight away. 🌫️ But underneath theres something fruity. Taste is warm, defintly warming. 🔥 Sweetness comes through mid palate. Like burnt sugar or toffee. Finish is long. Drys the mouth a bit. Cant quite put my finger on all the notes, feels complex innit. Proper enjoyable though. Might have another glass. Cheers. 🍻

Just had a dram of this whisky, and it's proper lush! 🥃 Aroma's got that classic smoky peatiness, like a bonfire on the moors. 😋 A hint of vanilla and honey sneakin' in there too. Taste-wise, it's smooth as silk with a touch of caramel and dried fruit. Spicy kick at the end, but not overwhelmin'. 🍯🔥 Finish is long and warmin', leaves ya feelin' all cozy. Perfect for a quiet evening in. 😊 Cheers!

Nosing this, I get lovely notes of honey and vanilla. 🍯 Tatses quite fruity, like stewed apples, with a subtle smokiness. Finish is long and warming, leaves a bit of oakiness. 🌳🥃 Proper good stuff, cheers!

Right, cracked this one open tonight. First thing on the nose is a proper hit of peat smoke 🔥, but then there’s this lovely sweeter, kinda honeyed thing underneath. Got a bit of that damp earth smell after rain, y’know? Taking a sip, it’s got a nice oiliness. The smoke’s still there, but now I’m getting some baked apple 🍎 and a hint of vanilla. There’s a spicy kick at the end, like ginger or cinnamon. Quite warming, like sitting by a fire. The finish is long, smoky and woody 🌲. Leaves a dry, almost peppery feeling. It’s a proper dram for a cold evening, that’s for sure. The flavours kinda hang about in a gud way. Quite a complex, smoky fella this one. Not for the faint-hearted! 👍
